the Asia continent
the Asia continent
Astronomical Site of the Asian continent:
1- the astronomical site of the continent relative to the latitudes:
Asia is site between two latitude 81° north of the equator, 10°
and south of the equator, i.e. Asia occupies
about 90 latitudes , the equator passing through the south of the
continent.
2- the astronomical site of a continent relative to the longitude:
The continent of Asia lies between the longitude of 26° east of
the Greenwich line, 170° west of the Greenwich line, meaning that the continent
of Asia extends over 196 longitude lines.
The longitude is used in determining the time difference but there is an important timing in the continent of Asia:
1- The timing of Mecca is one of the most important times for
Muslims, as it relates to Islamic religious occasions. The largest clock has
been built related to Mecca time. Mecca time has been used in commercial
transactions and television channels, and there is a trend to make this time
zone global, such as Greenwich Mean Time.
2-Because of the large area of Russia, there are 11 time zones
and no summer time, and in China because of its large area, Beijing time is
adopted as the official time except for the Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
3- because all of these countries are on the equator, the time
difference between winter and summer is very small, which makes the use of
daylight saving time useless.
Geographical site of the continent of Asia:
1- North Asia borders:
The Arctic Ocean, which is the smallest ocean in terms of area
and the lowest depth covering the ice surface throughout the year and its
temperature and salinity is low due to the lack of evaporation and the flow of
fresh water from rivers and streams around it. Asia is approaching North
America from the Bering Strait and the closest part between the two continents
is wide 92 kilometers and the largest depth to 190 feet, or there are many
islands between the two banks, the largest of which is the island of Diomede.
2- southern Asia borders:
The Indian Ocean, the Timor Sea, and the Sea of Arafura, which
separated the Asian continent from that of Australia. In the south of the
continent many islands, such as Indonesia, which is an archipelago of islands
in southern Asia, the Philippines and Japan, in addition to the Malay Peninsula
and the Indochina Peninsula
3- East Asia borders:
There are about 30,000 islands in the Pacific Ocean that follow
the major colonial countries, such as Britain, France and the United States of
America. The Pacific Ocean was the field of conflict between Japan and the
United States of America in the Second World War where most of the maritime
battles between Japan and the United States of America in the Pacific Islands
took place. Rough each side tried to control the Pacific islands to control the
huge resources in it and there are islands that follow colonial countries like
Britain and France and they speak the languages of these countries such as the
French Bolognese.
4- West Asia borders:
The Mediterranean sea ,the Ural Mountains and the Red Sea – Asia
connects with the continent of Africa at the Sinai peninsula and approaches it
at the Bab al-Mandab and throughout history, all invasions and wars have
entered into Africa through the Sinai peninsula, and although the continent of Africa
is approaching the Asian continent at the Bab al-Mandab, attempts to enter from
this The road is very few, including the emigration of Muslims to Abyssinia or
Abramus attempt to demolish the Kaaba.
The continent of Asia is separated from the European continent,
the Urals, so that Europe is an extension of the Asian continent.
5- The area of the continent of Asia:
The area of the continent of Asia is 44.2 million square
kilometers, and thus the continent of Asia is the largest continent in terms of
area. There is the largest closed sea, which is the Caspian Sea, and there are
countries across islands such as Japan and the Philippines, and there are
peninsulas like the Arabian Peninsula and the peninsula of Malawi And it has
small countries, such as Singapore and Bahrain, with 47 countries, the largest
of them in terms of area, Russia, China and India, and yet in Russia, most of
its land is on the Asian side, but politically it follows Europe because the
capital Moscow is located in the European part of Russia.
